Azerbaijani Ambassador to Qatar Tofig Abdullayev met Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani,AzerTag state news agency reported.
The sides discussed current state of relations and prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
Khalifa Al Thani praised relations between the two countries, saying the reciprocal visits create fruitful opportunities for the bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Abdullayev hailed political relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar, adding he would spare no efforts for further developing ties between the two countries.
