The 9th Book Festival in Azerbaijan kicked off at the Central Sabunchu Library on May 11.
The event timed to the 94th birthday anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was organized by Baku City Main Department of Culture and Tourism, Trend Life reported.
The festival aimed to stimulate interest in reading among youths. Prominent public, science and cultural figures attended the event.
The festival was held in festive atmosphere. During the event, guests got acquainted with the exhibition of young and talented artists.
