Azerbaijan exports $172.2 million worth of cotton in seven months
Azerbaijan exported more than 111,800 tons of cotton worth $172.2 million in January-July 2026, according to the State Customs Committee.
The value of cotton exports increased by 31.4%, while export volume rose by 32.5% compared with the same period of 2025.
Cotton accounted for 7.7% of Azerbaijan’s total exports of non-oil products during the reporting period.
Overall, Azerbaijan exported more than $2.239 billion worth of non-oil products of Azerbaijani origin in the first seven months of 2026, representing a 20.3% increase compared with the corresponding period of 2025.
