"Giselle" to be performed on Baku’s stage

The Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Baku will hold a performance "Giselle" by Adolphe Adam with the participation of Ukrainian National Opera’s ballerina, Honored Artist of Ukraine, winner of gold medals and first prizes in four international ballet competitions Olga Golitsa and laureate of the international ballet competitions Wan Jana from the Czech Republic.
The performance will take place on October 18.
The ballet "Giselle" by Adolphe Adam is one of the most famous ballets in the ballet world and enjoys great popularity among its fans, gathering a large audience every time during the show.
Olga Golitsa is one of the most popular ballet dancers of our time. Her performances had a great success in Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, the U.S., France, Japan, the Netherlands and Spain. Foreign press and theater critics note her unique data, the beauty and artistry.
The participation of such talents as Olga Golitsa and Wang Yan will certainly raise the high professional level of performance and great pleasure to fans.
The performance will be conducted by People's Artist of Azerbaijan, professor Javanshir Jafarov.
