"From Regions to Regions" Art Festival continues its journey through Azerbaijan.

The main goal of the project is to promote the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people, who have rich traditions of statehood. The festival aims at expanding cultural exchange between the regions.

With its vibrant program, the festival has been already held in Khachmaz, Aghjabadi, Ganja, Jalilabad and other cities, and now it has reached Khirdalan.

The head of the Absheron Executive Power Irada Gulmammadova, representatives of the Culture Ministry, heads of regional cultural departments and other public figures attended the event.

At first, the participants viewed the exposition prepared by Baku Culture Department and 15 regional culture departments.

Samples of folk art reflecting the cultural heritage of cities and regions were displayed near the Heydar Aliyev Center, Trend Life reported.

Director of the Sumgayit State Art Gallery Ellada Hasanova presented the "Mugham Trio" composition and a beautiful rug, while the master of decorative and applied arts Gunel Huseynova showcased a 3D work dedicated to Sumgayit and the "Icherisheher" wooden composition.

In addition, works of the wood carving master Asif Gasimov aroused great interest among the art lovers.
