Iranian parliament's planning, budget and economic commission has approved the government proposed budget plan for the next Iranian year (which starts March 21, 2019).

The official noted that the joint commission would start a session to decide on the bill, while currently, the bill is being reviewed by other parliamentary commissions.

"The Planning and Budget Organization has completed the budget bill draft, but it waits for the final parliament approval, hopefully the parliament would finish the process of revision soon."

The next year's budget bill is 12 percent more than the budget the current Iranian year (March 21, 2018).

The focus of the bill is to reduce the country's dependency on oil sale amid the US sanctions and improves the living conditions of Iranians, supporting domestic production and increase of employment.
