AMOR announces 2014 scholarship for Azerbaijani students

Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) Leyla Aliyeva has launched a scholarship for Azerbaijani A students, who receive education at Russian universities, for 2014.
For six consecutive years, Azerbaijani students have received "AMOR A Student" special scholarship, with the number of students receiving it growing on a yearly basis, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The scholarship is designed for students of second, third, fourth and fifth courses of universities in Moscow and regions of Russia. There are more than 60 students receiving "AMOR A Student" scholarship this year.
AMOR was established on April 18, 2009. Since its inception, the organization chaired by Leyla Aliyeva has aimed to bring together the most active part of the Azerbaijani community in Russia into one large family to inculcate in young people the spirit of patriotism and encourage the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.
The organization's scope of activity covers culture, education, science and history of Azerbaijan; its realities and perspectives; outreach activities, sporting programs; and nurturing in young people a sense of responsibility for their future and the future of the whole world.
