Ruling party exec: Great achievements reached under Azerbaijani president’s leadership
Much work was conducted and great achievements were reached under Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's leadership, deputy executive secretary of the ruling Yeni (New) Azerbaijan Party, MP Siyavush Novruzov told media on Monday, Trend news agency reported.
"The work conducted during this period, covered all areas," he said. "All achievements are obvious. Azerbaijan's election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, hosting Eurovision-2012 song contest and other things are a clear example of this."
Novruzov said there is another significant event. A decision has been recently made to conduct the first European Olympic Games in Baku in 2015.
"I would like to congratulate the ruling party chairman, president Aliyev on this success, as well as on his birthday and wish him robust health, achieving success in his activity," Novruzov said.
