Azerbaijan’s Labor and Social Protection Ministry is developing an "Electronic Case Management" system for management of social services provided to vulnerable groups of populations and this work is nearing a completion, the ministry’s press service has reported.
The system is being created in cooperation with UNICEF Azerbaijan and will be integrated into the Ministry’s Centralized Electronic Information System and will function as its subsystem.
The project aims to form a mechanism for managing social services on flexible and modern operating principles in order to further improve the efficiency, quality and accessibility of these services.
It will allow the ministry’s Social Services Agency employees enter into the electronic system all information about the daily activities, meetings with persons and families in a difficult situation, and plans for activities in this direction.
In the meantime, the agency will constantly monitor services provided to these families and individuals, the process of solving their problems within a unified system.
Such a consistent monitoring system will enable flexible and targeted management of social services and will allow for more objective and rapid investigation and resolution of possible problems.
