“Land of Fire-Azerbaijan” event held in Tashkent
An event titled "Land of Fire-Azerbaijan" has been held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, AzerTag state news agency reported.
The event supported by Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan brought together activists of Women's Council of Uzbekistan, as well as spouses of ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Uzbekistan and journalists.
Spouse of Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Uzbekistan Gulzar Guliyeva provided an insight into a history of Azerbaijan, as well as its culture, traditions, and achievements.
She also briefed the event participants on history and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The event also featured demonstration of a documentary about Azerbaijan.
