For first time, Instagram exhibition to kick off in Azerbaijan

A two-day exhibition Instasargi (Instaexhibition) will be held at the Contemporary Art Center in Azerbaijan's capital, Baku on April 13-14.
The uniqueness of this exhibition is that it is to feature only photos taken from the popular Instagram service. Such exhibitions have become commonplace abroad, but this one will be the first of the kind in Azerbaijan.
Instagram is an online photo-sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures, apply digital filters to them, and share them on a variety of social networking services, including Facebook and Twitter.
Visitors will have a great opportunity to see pictures mainly taken with mobile phone by ordinary people-amateur photographers. Some 500 photos will be on display. A special hall of the gallery to host the event will be featuring personal photographs made by users of Instagram, the code name being "# ME".
The exhibition is organized by HajizadeGroup company and
Internet project Aztagram (www.aztagram.com).
The main sponsor of the exhibition is Azercell, with Inteqral and
Chudo Pechka companies also involved.
The opening will take place at 12.00 am local time.
