New trains to appear in Baku subway in late May
Three new trains will be commissioned by the end of May on one of the lines of Baku subway, the Alstom company said April 28.
The Alstom concern has launched a dynamic test of two new train sections for cars of Baku subway system, according to the message.
“Alstom will supply a total of three trains of five cars each will be commissioned on one of the subway lines by the end of May,” the message said. “Tests are carried out together with Alstom’s partner, the manufacturer of subway cars, the Metrowagonmash company.”
Alstom is a global leader in the manufacture of equipment for generation and transmission of electrical energy and railway infrastructure. The company operates in the markets of about 100 countries. Alstom has been operating actively in the Azerbaijani market for over 20 years.
