A national pavilion of Azerbaijan will be exhibited at Astana EXPO-2017 International Exposition scheduled for June 10- September 10, 2017.
A revenant document confirming the transfer of the area, meant for the exhibition of local production, to the Azerbaijani side was signed in Kazakhstan, the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan reported on January 27.
The document was undersigned by the Director General on the construction of the Astana EXPO 2017 Company, Bolat Sandikbayev, and representative of Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry, Iftikhar Huseynov.
National Day of Azerbaijan is scheduled to be held within the exposition on July 9.
The national pavilion covers some 403.3 square meters. Operating under the motto of “The Land of Fire: energy, from past to future” it reflects such values as the history of Azerbaijan, culture, art, science, human capital, tradition of tolerance, modern economy, the Caspian Sea, the ancient Silk Road, Gobustan and etc.
The theme of the exhibition is the ‘Energy of the Future’. Some 105 countries and 18 international organizations have already confirmed their participation in the exhibition. Azerbaijan was one of the first countries to confirm its participation.
