Juicy Pomegranate Holiday due in Moscow

Juicy Pomegranate Holiday is coming soon to Russia. The event will take place in Moscow`s Tagansky Park on November 25.
Notably, the event is organized with the support of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Moscow, Report.az reports.
Muscovites and city's guests have a chance to taste dishes and drinks made from the "king of fruit".
At the same time, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the Azerbaijani culture and national cuisine, its folk crafts, language and literature.
Don't miss a chance to try pomegranate jam, freshly squeezed juice, narsharab sauce and many other dishes.
For all those who wish to know Azerbaijan`s culinary secrets, national chefs will hold special master-classes on preparation of shish kebab in a pomegranate marinade, dessert "pomegranate in caramel".
Along with this, a concert will be held with the participation of Azerbaijani singers. Kids can spend time on the playground in the company of animators and make-up artists.
Finally, the King and Queen of the Pomegranate will be chosen as part of the celebration.
The history of Azerbaijan is inseparably connected with cultivating pomegranates, extending deep into the centuries. Pomegranate is the national symbol of Azerbaijan, that’s why a special holiday is held every autumn devoted to this king of fruits.
Pomegranate holiday is traditionally held every year in Goychay region since 2006. All 55 species of Azerbaijani pomegranate found grow in Goychay.
The Annual Pomegranate Festival, one of Azerbaijan’s most loved and colorful festivals, was held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia last year. The event featured exhibition, displaying folk crafts, vivid national dresses etc. The originality and taste of Azerbaijani cuisine has attracted a lot of guests.
