Azerbaijani team in Top3 at European Team Chess Championship
The Azerbaijani men's chess team ranked third at the European Team Chess Championship 2015 in Reykjavik as they beat the Netherlands 2.5-1.5 in the sixth round.
Arkadij Naiditsch won his match, while Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Teymur Rajabov and Rauf Mammadov played to draw.
Meanwhile, the Azerbaijan women's team lost 1.5-2.5 to Poland.
The men`s team will take on Latvia, while the women`s team will lock horns with Armenia in the seventh round of the tournament, AzerTac state news agency reported.
