Final day results of 4th Open Azerbaijan & Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships [PHOTO]

The 4th Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships wrapped up in Baku Oct. 7.
On the final day, gymnasts competed in an individual program among males and females in age categories (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007, 2006-2004, 2003-2001, 2000 and older), as well as in trios in age categories (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007, 2006-2004, 2003-2001, 2000 and older), in groups (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007, 2006-2004, 2000 and older), and in mixed couples (gymnasts born in 2011-2010, 2009-2007, 2006-2004, 2000 and older).
Gymnasts from Azerbaijan (represented by “Ojag Sport” and “AyUlduz” clubs), Russia and Bulgaria took part in the competitions. The championship for the first time saw performances of gymnasts from Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
Russia’s Roman Semenov won the first place in the competition among males. Azerbaijan’s Vladimir Dolmatov won the silver medal, while Azerbaijan’s Elchin Mammadov won the bronze medal.
Ukraine’s Anastasiya Isaenko won the first place in the competition among females. The second and third places were shared by Russia’s Tatyana Konakova and Mariia Tereshina, respectively.
In addition, the Azerbaijani trio of Elchin Mammadov, Imran Imranov and Emil Guliyev took the second place. The gold medals in this competition were captured by Russian gymnasts.
Azerbaijani gymnasts Elchin Mammadov, Imran Imranov, Vladimir Dolmatov and Narmina Huseynova were the first in the standings among the groups.
