Russian coach: Azerbaijani aerobic gymnastics team trained by high-class specialist

All conditions have been created for athletes at the 4th Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships, coach of the Russian national team Lyubov Matveyeva told Trend.
“The competitions have been organized well,” she added. “We are pleased to perform in such conditions. Strong athletes are participating in the competitions.”
“The Azerbaijani national team in aerobic gymnastics is trained by a high-class specialist,” Matveyeva said.
“You have a high-class specialist - coach Mariyan Kolev, who worked in Bulgaria, trained the Vietnamese national team,” she added. “A development strategy for aerobic gymnastics has been worked out correctly.”
Today is the last day of the 4th Open Azerbaijan and Baku Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Baku’s National Gymnastics Arena.
Today, gymnasts are competing in the individual program in age categories - 7-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old, 18 years and older, in trios - 7-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 15-17 years old, 18 years old and older, in groups - 7-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 18 years old and older, as well as mixed pairs - 7-8 years old, 9-11 years old, 12-14 years old, 18 years old and older.
Gymnasts from Azerbaijan (represented by “Ojag Sport” and “AyUlduz” clubs), Russia and Bulgaria are taking part in the competitions. The championship for the first time sees performances of gymnasts from Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
