Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers to compete in Istanbul

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers will vie for medals at the International 45th Yasar Dogu Tournament to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on March 10-12, Azertac reported.
Along with Azerbaijan, the tournament will bring together wrestlers from Turkey, U.,. Poland, Russia and others.
Azerbaijan's squad includes Mahir Amiraslanov (57kg), Galib Aliyev (61kg), Aghahuseyn Mustafayev (65kg), Ibrahim Usubov (86kg) and Aslanbek Albarov (97kg).
In jury, Azerbaijan will be represented by referee of international category Vugar Shukurov.
The tournament between wrestlers in weight categories of 57 and 70 kg will be held on March 10. The wrestlers in 61, 74 and 125kg weight categories on March 11.
The wrestlers in the weight category 65, 86 and 97 kg will meet in the last day of the tournament.
Wrestling remains the most popular sport in the county and is overseen by the National Wrestling Federation, which was established in 1993.
