Armenia threatened by social explosion

Despite the so-called economic revolution, Armenia stands on the brink of a social explosion.
“Today, the first working week of 2019 began, which we are entering with increasing concern every day,“ Spokesman for the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov said on January 8.
Listing reasons for such concern, he noted the rise in price of numerous essential goods, failure to implement the 2018 budget, the new parliament without real opposition, the weakening of Armenia’s position in the CSTO and the loss of the post of Secretary General of the Organization, and finally increase of gas tariff instead of Armenian-Russian brilliant relations promised by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Sharmazanov at the end pointed that this series can be extended, but Nikol Pashinyan does not consider all this a defeat. In fact, we are waiting for this kind of victory and the economic revolution, he added.
More and more people in Armenia are convinced that the "velvet revolution" did not lead to anything good. Pashinyan continues to live in the thrall of illusions and do his favorite thing - populism, and puts the problems on shouldersof the Armenian people. The pime minister does not have a particular worry why Armenian citizens are taking to the streets.
The situation with the people, in general, resembles a vicious circle. People took to the streets to get rid of poverty but fell into the same hopelessness. İf before the poverty was hopelessly stable, today even this stability is evaporates. There is a chance to fall below even the social bottom.
The national economy, the conditions for the development of entrepreneurial activity, the level and culture of management, the quality of education and health, the level of security, the volume of social capital, total unemployment and much more, pushes the Armenian citizens to a universal Armenian method of solving problems - emigration.
The more beautiful Pashinyan tells about the high-tech economy and the development of information technologies in the country - the more the economy is deteriorating, and therefore, the more empty the cities and villages of Armenia are, from where people emigrate, mainly to Russia, in search of any job.
Armenia can be confidently attributed to countries with a failed economy. In terms of welfare and economic development, Armenia occupies the last place in the South Caucasus. Armenian people once again made a mistake hoping that Pashinyan will be able to lead the country out of the deepest crisis.
To avoid the problems the new leadership of Armenia has no choice but to withdraw from the Azerbaijani lands and establish normal relations with its neighbors. The Armenian authorities should abandon the occupation policy, execute the decisions of international organizations and withdraw their troops from the Azerbaijani lands and do not follow the path of the previous government.
