Azerbaijan, a state of stability and security

Azerbaijan has the image of a state with comprehensive protection of stability and security.
Azerbaijan's National Security Minister, Colonel-General Eldar Mahmudov made the remark at a graduation ceremony held at the Academy named after Heydar Aliyev under Azerbaijan's National Security Ministry.
"Confidence of the people and the head of state in national security agencies and the high prestige of our country make us even more responsible," Mahmudov said.
Addressing the graduates, he noted that the professional skills obtained in this school will help them decently carry out their duties.
He stressed the importance of education in the spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the state. "From this standpoint, all conditions have been created for education of mentioned qualities in the Academy."
Mahmudov highlighted the successful activity of national security bodies, which celebrated its 95th anniversary this year. "Reconnaissance and sabotage and provocative terrorist activities resolutely have been resolutely foiled by the security bodies as a result of consistent measures."
He also noted that impressive successes have been achieved in fight against drug trafficking, illegal migration, human trafficking and other forms of organized crime.
Mahmudov further said the developments in the region and the world necessitate mobilizing the ministry's staff and make it even more vigilant.
"The transformation of Azerbaijan into a dynamically developing country in the economic sphere is felt in all areas. Statistics show that the economy has increased more than three times over the last ten years. This is the most dynamic index of development in the world," Mahmudov underlined.
He noted that this requires a high level of knowledge and professionalism from the national security bodies.
"Young employees must take this into account. From the first day, they should responsibly fulfill their duties and stay away from various alien ideologies and influences," Mahmudov noted.
He further stressed that all the orders, instructions and recommendations of President Aliyev must be executed immediately and flawlessly.
