CIS states seek to apply Azerbaijan’s electoral experience
CIS member states will study Azerbaijan's electoral legislation.
Head of the Secretariat of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) Alexey Sergeev, who is on a visit in Baku, made the remark on December 16.
Sergeev said Azerbaijan's electoral legislation, the CEC's activity and other issues will be discussed at the seminar that will be held in Azerbaijan parliament on December16.
"We want Azerbaijan's electoral legislation to be applied in other member states of CIS too. Therefore this seminar is of an educational nature," Sergeev said.
Representatives of seven CIS member states will participate at the seminar.
