During the inspection jewelry weighing a total of 5.553 grams was found in the trunk.

79 pendants, 226 rings, 389 sets of ear-rings, 272 bracelets, necklaces, necklaces with pendants, and other items were found during the inspection and confiscated. State Customs Committee officers are investigating the case.

The smuggling of jewelry has become a big illegal business with its own methods and rules in the world. A lot of "businessmen" who are eager to earn easy money try to avoid customs clearance by hiding jewelry, however, such cases are prevented by customs officers in time, thus, Azerbaijan's economic security is provided.
