Ilham Aliyev congratulates president of Mauritania

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania – Independence Day,” said President Aliyev in his letter.
“I believe that Azerbaijan-Mauritania relations will always develop on the basis of friendship and cooperation,” noted the head of state.
“On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities, and the friendly people of Mauritania peace and prosperity,” added the Azerbaijani president.
