Jackie Chan opens up about his Baku shoot at Harbin Action Film Week [VIDEO]
Jackie Chan has given fans a glimpse into his recent time in Baku, where he has been filming the latest instalment of the Armour of God series.
The 72-year-old action star appeared at the 7th International Action Film Week in Harbin, where he spoke about his busy schedule and his trip from Azerbaijan to China.
Chan told the audience that he had been on set in Baku just the day before the event. The long summer evenings in the Azerbaijani capital gave the crew plenty of time to work, and he joked that they could have continued filming well into the night if they had not needed to catch their flight.
"The sun sets only after 10," Chan said, explaining that the team could have filmed until around 10:45 p.m. if they had stayed in Baku.
The actor also admitted that the trip had been exhausting, but said the team was determined to make it back to Harbin to meet fans and take part in the event.
Chan has been filming Armour of God 4: Ultimatum in Azerbaijan since early August.
In the new movie, he returns as Asian Hawk, the adventurous archaeologist and treasure hunter who has become one of his best-known characters.
The production has taken the cast and crew to several locations, with filming also taking place in Kazakhstan. The fourth chapter of the long-running franchise is expected to hit cinemas in 2027.
