The 60th birthday of Azerbaijani sculptor Said Rustam was marked on December 27 in Ankara, Turkey, Trend Life reported.

Featuring extensive and wondrous exhibition, the event was held under the auspices of Azerbaijan Embassy in Turkey and TURKSOY. The exhibition will last until January 10, 2017.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Faig Bagirov, TURKSOY Secretary General Dushen Kaseinov, Deputy Firat Purtash, TURKSOY representative in Azerbaijan Elchin Gafarli, intelligentsia, mass media attended the event.

The speakers spoke about the life and creativity of the sculptor. They highlighted the rich history of the Turkic world, its culture and colorful world reflected in his works.

Baghirov named Said Rustam Azerbaijan’s pride in Turkey.
