CIS states to mull integrated foreign exchange market
An agreement on cooperation in organizing the CIS member states' integrated foreign exchange market will be discussed during the summit of the CIS heads of states, to be held in Ashgabat on Wednesday, Trend news agency reported, referring to an official Turkmen source.
The draft document is aimed at facilitating foreign exchange transactions procedures by mutual access of legal entities, who are entitled to conduct foreign exchange transactions, to foreign exchange markets of each other.
In turn, as the CIS Executive Committee said, compared to the current procedures for the currency exchange through authorized banks, the procedure proposed in the agreement is easier and more profitable.
