Azerbaijan's Nekrasova to perform in finals at FIG World Challenge Cup

Azerbaijani gymnast Marina Nekrasova has advanced to the finals in the balance beam exercises at the FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, being held in Baku.
Nekrasova scored 13,100 points.
Sixteen-year-old Brazilian gymnast Flavia Lopes Saraiva showed the first result in the qualification event (15.150 points).
Two Uzbek gymnasts and gymnasts from Sweden, Turkey, Hungary and Germany have advanced to the finals following the qualification event.
The FIG World Challenge Cup in Artistic Gymnastics kicked off in Baku February 19 and is to end February 21. As many as 45 male and 22 female gymnasts will compete for medals in apparatus finals of the World Challenge Cup.
In general, athletes from 19 countries are to participate in the event.
Men’s and women’s qualifications on the first two days of the competitions will be followed by apparatus finals on the last day.
