Turkic-speaking countries to boost ties with new deal
The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TURKPA) and the Association of municipalities of the Turkic world plan to sign a cooperation agreement on September 3 in Turkey.
TURKPA reported that the goal of the agreement is to develop relations in various spheres, the organization of projects and conferences, the promotion of active participation of local municipalities in TURKPA's activity, as well as participation of experts from the Association of municipalities of Turkic world in the activity of relevant permanent commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries.
The agreement is expected to be signed by Secretary General of TURKPA Ramil Hasanov andChairman of the Association of municipalities of Turkic world, head of Kocaeli municipality Ibrahim Karaosmanoglu.
