Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and Gulf Cooperation Council sign memo
A memorandum of understanding on the mechanism of consultations between the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council was signed in Baku on June 12.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the delegation headed by Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.
The minister expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Council.
The Secretary General praised the conference on Palestine held in Baku and stressed its importance to the Islamic world. The Council representative emphasized Azerbaijan's strengthening and its growing international reputation.
