On May 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with a delegation of the Kingdom of Eswatini led by His Majesty King Mswati III, AzerNEWS reports.
The King of Eswatini expressed gratitude to the head of state for the invitation to participate in the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).
President Ilham Aliyev noted that the event, attended by representatives from more than 180 countries, provides an important platform for discussing pressing global urban planning issues and exchanging experiences.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Eswatini, including prospects for cooperation in the energy, mining, and other fields.
