By Nigar Orujova

A famous Azerbaijani artist Nigar Narimanbayova will present her art at an international exhibition of contemporary art called "Painters of the World" in Cannes.

The French city will host the exhibition in its central exhibition hall, located on the famous Boulevard de la Croisette, on September 25-28.

"I am extremely happy that I will represent my native Azerbaijan on this beautiful and prestigious art festival, which will gather the best artists from around the world. At the exhibition I will present my new series of paintings called 'All Life is a Theater', that consists of nine paintings," she said.

"These works are created in my style of oneiric chromaticism, which intertwines dreams and reality, phantasmagoria and soulful lyricism, stiffness and poetry," Narimanbayova said.

The artist's works have already successfully presented in the central gallery Paulia Rosa in Paris and at the international exhibition "Artists of the World" in Monaco, which was held under the patronage of the Prince of Monaco Albert II.

Nigar Narimanbayova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School after Azim Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography after Gerasimov in Moscow.

She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, and Azerbaijan.

Narimanbayova is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art. Her paintings have been put on display at the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan, and private collections.
