Baku to host exhibition of German Azerbaijani artist

The Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism will organize a personal exhibition of Germany-based Azerbaijani Honored Art Worker Ebrahim Ehrari at the Museum Centre on April 2-8.
Ebrahim Ehrari was born in 1938 in Urmia, South Azerbaijan. He moved to Europe in 1966 and studied with Professors Wolfgang Ludwig and Hans Fortsch at the Subject Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
In 1973 he began to work at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Tehran University and he got a professorship at the Academy of Applied Arts in the field of graphic techniques.
In 1975 he returned to Europe and studied art history at Berlin`s Free University. Since 1976 Ebrahim Ehrari is member of the Berlin Federal Association of Visual Artists.
Ebrahim Ehrari's artistic work is characterized by his virtuosic skill in the use of graphic techniques.
Ehrari is one of the initiator and authors of the Khojaly monument in Berlin.
