Turkey-Azerbaijan trade turnover increases

Trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan increased by $180.6 million in 2019, exceeding $2 billion compared to 2018, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
During 2019, Turkey’s export to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.6 billion, and import from Azerbaijan to $394.7 million.
In December 2019, trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan increased by $74 million compared to December 2018, amounting to $235.4 million.
At this time, export of Turkey to Azerbaijan amounted to $194.2 million, and import from Azerbaijan to $41.2 million.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $374.2 billion in 2019.
In 2019, Turkey’s export increased by 2.1 percent compared to 2018, exceeding $171.5 billion.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s import dropped by 9.1 and amounted to $202.7 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in December 2019 amounted to $33.7 billion.
In December 2019, export of Turkey increased by 6.4 percent compared to December 2018, exceeding $14.6 billion.
In this month, import to Turkey increased by 14.9 percent and reached $19 billion.
