Procter & Gamble expands its presence in Azerbaijan
Procter & Gamble, the largest FMCG Company in the world, has been operating in Azerbaijan for over 13 years through its representative office, focusing on implementing marketing activities and providing expertise to the local distributor company, which was responsible for the importation of the products and the sales operations in the country.
Over the years Procter & Gamble, via its brands and corporate social programs, has touched the lives of millions of Azeri consumers. Each day over 170,000 of Azeri consumers buy and use P&G products in Azerbaijan.
Taking into consideration that the business of the Company in Azerbaijan has become very successful and the external environment has become conducive to its further development, Procter & Gamble has decided to strengthen its affiliation with the country and the local market. P&G has established a new legal entity which will be responsible for all business operations in Azerbaijan, including the implementation of marketing initiatives, the importation of products and stakeholders relations. We believe that stronger presence of P&G in the country will allow us to serve the needs of Azeri consumers more completely through our brands and social programs.
