İranian president opens airport runway project in Arak
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated the Arak airport runway development project in this central province on June 9, IRNA news agency reported.
The president arrived in Arak on a day-long visit to inaugurate nine development projects which have been carried out in the fields of aerospace, energy, industry, housing and air and railway transportation.
The length of the new runway is now expanded to 3,700 meters.
