Japan's real wages fall for fifth consecutive month

Real wages in Japan fell by 2.9 percent in May compared to the same month last year, the government announced on July 7. This marks the fifth consecutive monthly decline and the sharpest drop in nearly two years, highlighting how wage growth continues to lag behind inflation, Azernews reports.
