Tatneft PJSC has established Tatneft-AZS-Tashkent company in Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reports.

The oil company registered its sales subsidiary in the city of Nurafshon in the Tashkent region on December 26, 2018. Its business plan is currently being developed, said the company.

So far, Tatneft has not had gas stations in Uzbekistan. Its retail network consisted of 691 gas stations as of October 1, 2018, including 582 in Russia, 18 in Belarus, and 91 in Ukraine.

The head of Tatneft, Nail Maganov, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Alisher Sultanov, and representatives of the Uzbekneftegaz state company in November 2018.

In addition, earlier it was announced that Tatneft is considering the possibility of implementing a petrochemical project in the Angren free economic zone (FEZ).

Tatneft is one of the largest Russian oil companies today and is an internationally recognized vertically integrated holding. The industrial complex of the company includes steadily developing enterprises of crude oil and gas production, petroleum refining, petrochemicals production, the tire-manufacturing complex, network of filling stations and services.

Tatneft also has a stake in the financial sector companies (banking and insurance).

The accumulated financial capacity of PJSC Tatneft now allows carrying out large-scale investment projects at the expense of both internally available and borrowed funds, while maintaining a high level of financial stability and liquidity.

The achievements in production, environmental and social activities, as well as a high level of the corporate management, openness and transparency of the company, are highly valued by the company's shareholders, business partners and the investment community as a whole.
