Azerbaijan to open embassy in Algeria

Azerbaijan will open its embassy in Algeria.
Azerbaijani parliament's extraordinary session adopted on June 27 a draft law "On opening the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria" after discussions.
Azerbaijan-Algeria relations are successfully developing, and both countries cooperate effectively within a variety of international organizations. There are good opportunities for development of bilateral relationship in all spheres in the future.
People's Democratic Republic of Algeria recognized independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 20, 1991. Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria were established on April 22, 1994.
