Baku to host 1st drytooling championship - READY

First Azerbaijani Drytooling Championship is expected to be held at the ClimBaku sports center on December 14-15.
Dry-tooling is a rock climbing variety with ice axes and crampons, a combination of mixed climbing, ice climbing and sport climbing.
The championship is aimed to identify the strongest athlete, as well as to form and develop the national team that will represent Azerbaijan at the international competitions in the future.
The event is organized with the support of the Air and Extreme Sports Federation of Azerbaijan (FAIREX).
The rules of the competition have been approved by the Azerbaijan Youth and Sport Ministry.
Some 40 clubs of FAIREX will attend the competition.
Sports clubs such as "Western University", "AMEAST", "A+A", "Ekosport", "Murov", "Sport Club MES" "Salavat" , "Zirva", "Shahdag", "Yanardag", "Rockstone", "Babadag", "Gaya gartalary", "Mountain bee", "Tanrydag", "Ganja", "Dashkasan", "Kemer Gaya", "Nukha", "Ganjlik", "Medjera", "Scouts", "Ireli", "Academy of Architecture", "Technical University", "Caucasus", " Simurg", "Gemruk", "Ekstralife", "Kiyanit", "Sheki AMA" and some others will fight for the title.
The national championships on climbing are regularly held in Azerbaijan with participation of local and foreign athletes.
