Azerbaijan attends int'l geographical conference in UK

Chairman of the State Committee of Land and Cartography of Azerbaijan Garib Mammadov has participated in the Bringing Geographic Authority to Information international conference in the UK.
Senior representatives and leaders from mapping and cadastral organisations from around the world attended the conference.
The Cambridge Conference, hosted by Great Britain's Ordnance Survey, is a unique occasion, giving experts the chance to discuss mapping and land-management issues which are of global importance.
More than 150 delegates from 70 nations joined the event held in the tranquil settings of Churchill College, Cambridge, Great Britain.
In 2013, the Conference revolved around the theme of 'Bringing Geographic Authority to Information'. At the Conference, delegates debated on a range of issues - from the uses of new technologies, through to new and closer ways of working with our counterparts across the world.
