Volgograd seeks Azerbaijani investments
The Russian-Azerbaijani Forum will be held in the Russian city of Volgograd in June.
As a part of the Forum the Azerbaijani and Russian sides are expected to sign a long-term agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Volgograd oblast of Russia.
Russian media reported that Azerbaijan is among the top ten counterparty countries of the Volgograd region in foreign trade area.
Governor of Volgograd Region Sergei Bozhenov said that the regional government can offer Azerbaijani investors a number of new industrial and infrastructure projects and sign a long-term partnership agreement with Azerbaijan.
"Until now, we did not have a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan, but now such a document is being developed," Bozhenov said.
