Beautiful parks of Baku PHOTO
Over the past few years, Baku has become a lot greener and more beautiful, due to its colorful parks, some of which were re-constructed, and the new ones that were opened.
Baku Seaside Park, Boulevard, is the most attractive place for all who visit the capital of Azerbaijan. Residents and guests of the city are attracted here by the cool air and closeness of the sea. Every guest will find here something he likes. Children play on all kinds of swings and equipment. One can sit in an outdoor cafe, drink aromatic tea, and enjoy frosty ice cream. Take a ride on a boat around Baku harbor, from where you will have a magnificent view of the grand scenery of the city.
Philharmonia Garden, also called Governor's Park, is a park next to Baku fortress. This is a great place where you can escape the heat of the summer. Fountains Square derives its name from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during Soviet period.
