Azerbaijani cyclist becomes top young rider of Tour of Ukraine
The UCI 2.2 Tour of Ukraine 3-day stage race ended last day. This may be one of the successful competitions for Azerbaijan’s Synergy Baku Cycling Project among other 18 strongest teams.
From the very first day of the race, national rider Samir Jabrayilov won the jersey for the best young rider among U23 and he held that until the end of the tour.
Further to his success by finishing the first and the last stages in 3rd places he became 4th in the GC. Samir will hold the jersey and his title until the next Tour of Ukraine.
The Tour of Ukraine participated by Synergy Baku’s Samir Jabrailov, Elgun Alizade, Kanan Gahramanli, Elchin Asadov and Alexander Surutkovich.
