Azerbaijani judoka Hidayat Heydarov, having defeated the Italian opponent Giovanni Esposito in the final of the European Championship in Sofia (Bulgaria), became the champion of the continental championship, Trend reports.
Another Azerbaijani athlete, Rustam Orudzhev, won the bronze medal, beating the Romanian Adrian Sulk.
