Baku 2017 Spectator Information Centre goes live in build up to the Games

Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games has today unveiled the Baku 2017 Spector Information Centre. This service, which can be accessed by dialing 2017, is free of charge to use, and will provide comprehensive information about all aspects of the Games, including the sports venues, competition schedule, ticketing (prices, how to buy tickets, sales locations and opening hours), accessibility and how to get to and from all venues.

The Baku 2017 Spectator Information Centre, which is provided by Nar, an Official Partner to the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games, will operate from 10am to 6pm (Baku time) seven days a week in the build up to the Games. The service is being offered with both Azerbaijani and English language options. International visitors wishing to call, can do so, by dialing +994 77 2017 000. Please note that these calls will be subject to the international charges.

Anyone calling the Baku 2017 Spectator Information Centre will be welcomed with a message from Baku 2017 Ambassadors Rafael Isgandarov and Joshgun Rahimov, who are famous across Azerbaijan for their hugely popular TV show “Bu Shaharda”.

The Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games takes will feature athletes from every one of the ISSF’s 57 member nations, who are based across four continents. Athletes will compete in 20 sports, across 270 medal events, including football, athletics, gymnastics, wrestling and boxing.

Sporting competiton starts on 8 May with Football, Handball and Volleyball, ahead of the official Opening Ceremony which take place at the Baku Olympic Stadium, which takes place on 12 May.

Anyone willing to be a part of this fantastic international sporting occasion can do so by purchasing a ticket either via the Baku 2017 website - www.baku2017.com/tickets, or from 12 ticket outlets including Park Bulvar, Ganjlik Mall and 28 Mall, as well as 5 ASAN Service sales points located across Baku. Additionally, Venue Ticket Box offices will be operating at 17 venues during the Games.
