U.S.-Georgia to begin joint drills
A Georgian-American military exercise 'Fighting Spirit - 2013' will be held in Georgia from March 11 to April 5 at the Vaziani military firing-ground, the Georgian Defence Ministry said.
400 American marines sent to Georgia for the exercise this week. It will be held round-the-clock. This is the third such drills to be held in Georgia.
Soldiers of the 23rd battalion of the 2nd Infantry Brigade that returned from Afghanistan without any losses last year will take part in the exercise together with the Americans according to a decision by the Georgian command.
