BTE gas pipeline to be expanded to 25 bcm after 2017 - minister
The Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline, carrying natural gas from
Azerbaijan's Shah Deniz offshore field to Turkey, will be expanded
with the increased capacity amounting to 25 billion cubic meters of
gas per year after 2017, Azerbaijan's energy minister Natig Aliyev
told journalists in Baku, AzerTac state news agency reported.
According to the minister, in later stages the volume of gas to be
transported via this route will be increased up to 45 billion
bcm.
