Baku, Tehran mull border issues

Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister said Baku hopes to coordinate all cross-border issues with Iran in the near future.
Khalaf Khalafov said the use of transboundary rivers and border bridges was mulled at a meeting of the commission on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border issues.
The meeting was held on December 16 in Baku
The heads of legal departments of the Foreign Ministries headed the work of the commission.
Earlier, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pak Ayeen said the two sides plan to sign a memorandum of understanding in case of the parties' agreement during the meeting.
There are seven border crossings on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border.
