Azerbaijan re-elected to council of int'l congress of entrepreneurs
Head of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan (NCEA) Mammad Musayev has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Council of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, says a message from the NCEA released on October 15.
The Council is headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of Russia's State Duma, Yury Shamkov. The chairman of Tajikistan's Chamber of Commerce Sharif Said and member of the Presidium of Estonian Business Association Tiit Vahi were elected his deputies. Board chairman of the Eurocredit bank Dmitry Pechalov is in charge of the Audit Committee of the Congress.
The elections were held within the 10th Congress of the Assembly of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on October 9-11 in Moscow.
Azerbaijan was represented at the congress by NCEA Vice President Vugar Zeynalov, Secretary General of the confederation of entrepreneurs Magomedali Efendiyev and Executive Director of Elba Ltd. Azar Muradov.
On the eve of the congress the Azerbaijani delegation and the Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Russia discussed issues of economic development and international business cooperation.
