ADA University, the ADA University Foundation (ADAF), and "Referans Medical Group" have launched a joint project aimed at enhancing public health knowledge and experience among youth, Azernews reports.
At an event held at ADA University, Firuza Ismayil Aliyeva, head of ADAF's Sponsorship Projects Department, and Aytaj Karimli, a representative of "Referans Medical Group," emphasized the project's goal of providing young people with early career opportunities in public health. The initiative, led by ADA University, seeks to offer support to young individuals interested in this field.
A key focus of the project is to improve the skills and knowledge of low-income youth, particularly young girls in the region, in first aid. The project includes a five-day training session as part of the "Girls" project, which is being conducted in partnership with ADAF and PASHA Bank. The training will cover psychology, therapy, and first aid, with the top 10 participants offered job opportunities in relevant fields.
Additionally, the project will provide free medical examinations and discounted services to ADA University professors, students, and low-income families in the region, while also supporting the activities of the university's "Medical Aid" club, comprised of ADA students.
